Generalities:
Cirrhosis is the lost of liver cells and irreversible scarring of the liver. Cirrhosis is a consequence of severe and chronic damage to this organ.
It could be confused with Perihepatic Disease.
Symptoms may include: nausea, frequent flatus, Anorexy, weight loss, ascites, (accumulation of fluid in the abdomen).Angiomas (benign tumor formed by blood vessels). Esophageal varices.
Cause:
It is due to multiple factors such as some type of hepatitis, alcoholism, toxicity (in foods, drugs, etc.), autoimmune diseases, fatty liver; They are the most common.
