Generalities:

The cranial nerves are 12 nerves that connect the brain with different organs through the skull. They have various functions such as the movement of the eyes, muscles of the face, throat, sensitivity of the face, throat, perception of the senses... The vagus nerve descends through the neck and is involved in the functioning of various organs such as the heart, stomach ( stomach dysfunction), colon (colon dysfunction); it is also involved in functions of the autonomic system such as sleep (insomnia) and stress.
The dysfunction of these pairs can present varied symptoms depending on the pair that is affected.
