Generalities:
Staquibotrix or Stachybotrys is a genus of fungus of which there are approximately 50 species. As most fungus proliferate in damp and dusty places, like abandoned buildings. The spores of the fungus can be inhaled and cause infection. It produces a pathogenic mycotoxin that affects humans, causing mild to severe disorders depending on the degree of exposure to the spores and the patient's condition.
Symptom:
