Generalities:
The Zika virus originated in Africa, although it has now spread, mainly from Mexico to South America. The most frequent symptoms are moderate fever and skin rashes, which happens after 3 to 12 days of contracting the virus. Other symptoms may include: malaise, pain in muscles and / or joints, headache, vomiting.
